Beyond the catalogue — demo, install, and profile support

Equipment purchase is the start of the workflow, not the end. Our Vancouver team supports specialty coffee roasteries with showroom demonstrations, remote specification consulting, on-site installation, warranty service, spare-parts fulfilment, and roast-profile review — all scoped to drum and sample roaster operations.

Showroom demo — Gastown bench

C$0 – C$150 (group sessions)

Visit our Gastown showroom to observe live roasts on RC-Sample and RC-Drum demo units. Sessions cover charge temperature ramp, drum speed adjustment, airflow baffle positions, and data-log export. Individual roasteries receive complimentary 90-minute slots; group sessions for trade associations or roaster collectives are C$150 per attendee with shared cupping. You leave with spec sheet copies and ventilation checklist notes for your facility. Book via contact form with subject “Roaster enquiry”.

Remote spec consultation

C$185 – C$450 per session

Not in Vancouver? Schedule a video consultation with our equipment specialists. We review your batch targets, fuel availability, floor plan dimensions, and exhaust constraints against catalogue lines. Sessions include annotated CAD footprint overlays and electrical load summaries. Single-line reviews run C$185 for 60 minutes; multi-line facility planning up to C$450 for 120 minutes. Follow-up email summary included. Ideal for interprovincial roasteries evaluating RC-Drum 5 versus RC-Drum 15 before committing freight budget.

Installation & commissioning

C$2,400 – C$12,500

Certified technicians install drum and sample roasters, verify gas or electrical connections, align exhaust collars, and run safety interlock checks. Commissioning includes calibration roasts, bean-probe validation, and operator handoff documentation. Sample roaster installs in BC lower mainland from C$2,400; production drum installs with afterburner integration up to C$12,500 depending on travel and stack engineering. Ventilation ductwork by licensed third parties quoted separately. We coordinate timing with your green receiving schedule to minimise downtime.

Warranty & field service

C$0 – C$890 per visit (post-warranty)

New equipment carries manufacturer-backed warranty terms detailed in spec sheets — typically 12 months parts and labour on drum drive, burner modules, and control panels. Warranty claims processed through [email protected] with serial number and roast-hour estimate. Post-warranty field visits in BC from C$490; interprovincial travel billed at C$890 plus parts. Remote diagnostics via video available for control-panel faults before dispatching a technician. Response target: two business days for production-down scenarios.

Spare parts & consumables

C$35 – C$2,200 per order

Vancouver warehouse stocks trier blades, drum drive belts, probe assemblies, burner orifices, chaff screen sets, and control-panel fuses for all active catalogue lines. Standard orders ship within three business days across Canada. Critical production parts — drum bearings, gas valves — held in limited quantity for expedited fulfilment. Order via email with equipment serial number; typical consumable orders C$35–C$180, major component replacements up to C$2,200. Preventive maintenance kits published annually per line.

Service 06

Roast-profile review

C$320 – C$780 per origin set

Submit roast logs and cupping notes for a single origin or comparative set. Our roasting advisors analyse charge temp, rate-of-rise, first-crack timing, development ratio, and airflow changes against your target cup profile. Single-origin review C$320; three-origin comparative set C$780 with written recommendations for drum speed and baffle adjustments. Deliverable includes annotated curve overlays and suggested charge-weight tweaks. Not a substitute for formal Q-grader certification — focused on equipment-linked profile optimisation for production drums.
