Terms of use
Last updated: 26 June 2026 · Effective from: 26 June 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website roastcraft.pro and related online content operated by RoastCraft Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, with business number 839012345BC0001 and registered address at 1190 Hamilton Street Suite 310, Vancouver BC V6B 2P5 (“RoastCraft,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
These Terms apply to all visitors, browsers, and prospective commercial clients. Separate written agreements — quotations, purchase orders, installation contracts, or service agreements — govern equipment sales and on-site work where they conflict with website content; in case of conflict, the signed commercial document prevails for that transaction.
2. Nature of business and coffee equipment disclaimer
RoastCraft is a supplier of commercial specialty coffee roasting equipment, including drum roasters, sample roasters, green-coffee handling systems, and bench tools, together with related demonstration, installation, warranty, spare-parts, and roast-profile consulting services. We are not a restaurant, café, food-service franchise, prepared-meal provider, green coffee retailer for consumer use, roasted coffee brand, or beverage delivery operator.
Content on roastcraft.pro describes machinery specifications, estimated pricing ranges in Canadian dollars, and service scopes for business-to-business clients in the specialty coffee industry. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to sell food or beverages to the public, a franchise disclosure document, or advice on restaurant operations, kitchen design for prepared food, or meal-delivery logistics. Demo roasts conducted at our Gastown showroom exist solely to evaluate equipment performance using sample green coffee — not for retail sale or consumption as part of a food-service business operated by RoastCraft.
Clients remain solely responsible for compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations applicable to their roasting operations, including but not limited to building permits, fire codes, emissions standards, workplace safety, and food safety rules governing their finished products. Equipment specifications on this website are subject to change without notice; confirm current figures on official spec sheets before purchasing.
3. Website content and catalogue information
We strive to present accurate equipment descriptions, pricing ranges, and service details. However, roastcraft.pro is provided for general information. Catalogue listings, photographs, performance figures (batch capacity, charge temperature, drum speed ranges, airflow specifications), and C$ price bands are estimates and may differ from final quotes based on configuration, freight, taxes, installation complexity, and manufacturer updates.
Images may show optional accessories or workshop staging not included in base pricing. Technical data — electrical loads, gas BTU input, exhaust CFM — must be verified against PDF spec sheets and qualified trades before committing to facility modifications. We disclaim liability for decisions made solely on the basis of summary web copy without consulting current documentation or our sales team.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use roastcraft.pro only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Attempting unauthorised access to servers, accounts, or data;
- Transmitting malware, scraping content at rates that impair site performance, or circumventing security controls;
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent contact form information;
- Completing hidden honeypot fields intended to trap automated bots;
- Using site content to misrepresent affiliation with RoastCraft or to imply endorsement of unrelated products;
- Reproducing substantial portions of the site for commercial republication without written permission.
We may suspend access, filter traffic, or report activity to authorities when we reasonably believe Terms have been violated.
5. Intellectual property
All text, layout, catalogue naming (including Bench 01 — 2026 Catalogue), logos, graphics, and compilation of content on roastcraft.pro are owned by RoastCraft Inc. or licensed to us and protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal or internal business evaluation. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display requires prior written consent.
Manufacturer names and product trademarks appearing in equipment descriptions belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
6. Contact form and communications
Submitting our contact form does not create a binding contract for equipment purchase or service engagement. Submissions are invitations to treat; RoastCraft may accept or decline to quote. You represent that information provided is accurate and that you have authority to enquire on behalf of any business named in your message. Consent to personal information handling under PIPEDA is required via the unchecked consent checkbox before submission.
7. Third-party links and tools
Our site may link to manufacturer documentation, ventilation resources, or industry references. We do not control third-party content and disclaim responsibility for accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. Font delivery via Google Fonts and optional analytics processors are described in our Cookie and Privacy policies.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, roastcraft.pro and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that defects will be corrected, or that the site is free of viruses or harmful components.
RoastCraft does not warrant that equipment purchased after separate commercial agreement will meet your specific production outcomes; roasting results depend on operator skill, green coffee quality, maintenance, and environmental factors beyond equipment specification alone.
9. Limitation of liability
Subject to non-waivable consumer protection rights under British Columbia law (which may not apply to purely business-to-business website browsing), RoastCraft Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use roastcraft.pro, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising directly from website use shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (C$100), except where liability for personal injury or fraud cannot be limited by law. Equipment and service contracts may specify different liability caps in signed documents.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoastCraft Inc. from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the website, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or website use, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your province grant non-exclusive jurisdiction.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms or website access.
12. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full force. Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
13. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new Last updated date. Material changes take effect on posting unless stated otherwise. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
